Forest Magic is steeped in the tradition of music. The group of five young musicians, which formed in Chattanooga in 2006, has stayed pretty localized to their hometown, crafting and tempering their sound – a mix of traditional instrumentation with synthesized loops, ambient washes, and an array of vocal effects, they aim to put voice to the awe that literally surrounds them. Is Energy is their debut album.
