What is included in the ticket price?
The Inner Ear pass offers reserved seats and priority admissions to all performances.
The Outer Ear pass gives you priority admission to all Big Ears events except Philip Glass, Antony and the Johnsons and the Festival Finale with Michael Gira and Fennesz/Linkous/Minor and featuring Larkin Grimm. Quantities are limited.

When will I receive my ticket?
Inner Ear Passes and Outer Ear Passes will be picked up upon arrival. Details will be emailed approximately 10 days prior to the festival.
Tickets to Individual Shows will be delivered based upon the method you select when purchasing (mail, print at home, will call, ups overnight).
How do I get there?
The Tyson McGee Airport is located 20 minutes from downtown Knoxville. There are a number of direct and connecting flights. There is also a Greyhound bus station within walking distance of downtown. For more details and driving directions please see the Travel section.
Are the hotels close to the venues?
All downtown hotels listed in the Big Ears travel section are within walking distance of all the venues.
What's parking like?
All hotels have parking.
Additionally there are multiple parking garages that are free on weekends. Locations of garages here.
Can I take public transportation?
Downtown Knoxville is serviced by a trolley system. You can find the route map here. Your hotel should also be able to assist in any ground transportation needs.

Where are ATMs?
There are a number of banks centrally located. There is an ATM at the Bijou Theatre.
What else is there to do in the area?
Knoxville is located in the Appalachian valley, 35 miles from the Smoky Mountains. There you can hike and enjoy the wonders of the Great Smoky Mountains. There are also a number of attractions within downtown Knoxville from YeeHaw Industries letterpress and gallery to the Sunsphere to the shops and restaurants on Market Square. Just minutes from downtown is Ijams Nature Center with a number of walking and biking trails.
Is there alcohol?
Yes. At select venues.
Is this all ages?
Theatre shows are all ages. The Pilot Light shows are 18+.
